MEET THE TEAM – Officlal Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg
In this issue of SFF Magazine, we open the doors of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg to introduce the team that drives the Chamber’s daily activities and, among many other functions, coordinates the Spanish Financial Forum and relations with members in Luxembourg.
From supporting Spanish companies that want to make the leap to BeLux, to launching European projects, networking events, and visibility actions for members, the Chamber team’s work has a common goal: to boost business opportunities for its more than 350 member companies in Spain, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
An active presence in Luxembourg
The team carries out a significant part of its work in Luxembourg and organizes events every month to maintain close ties with members, participate in institutional and networking events, and provide first-hand support to its network of partners in the Grand Duchy.Spanish Financial Forum: the leading financial platform
Spanish Financial Forum: the leading financial platform
One of the most important projects developed by the Chamber in Luxembourg is the Spanish Financial Forum, a platform for meetings and sectoral debate specifically focused on the financial sector. Through the SFF, the team promotes activities, publications (such as SFF Magazine), and working groups that bring together financial institutions, law firms, service providers, and regulators with the aim of analyzing trends, sharing expertise, and strengthening the position of Luxembourg as a financial center in its relationship with Spain.
Activities throughout the year
In parallel, the Chamber runs a wide programme of activities in Luxembourg throughout the year that consolidates its presence and that of its members at local level. Highlights include a bi-weekly newsletter featuring the latest news from the Chamber and its member companies; events organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in Luxembourg, a key institutional partner in ensuring high-level relations in the country; promotional actions focused on Spanish gastronomy and tourism, which help project Spain’s image beyond the strictly economic sphere; as well as afterwork events and informal gatherings designed to encourage networking and direct exchange between professionals.
