Inversis to act as depositary for March Asset Management funds in Luxembourg
Topics: Asset Management
Inversis Luxembourg, the branch of Inversis operational since May 2024, has assumed the role of depositary for the investment funds of March Asset Management (AM), the asset management arm of Banca March Group. The operation further strengthens the strategic relationship between March AM and Inversis, following last year’s transfer to Inversis Spain of 19 investment funds, 10 pension funds, 10 SICAVs and 3 EPSVs.
This move reflects March AM’s confidence in Inversis as a leading provider of integrated investment technology and outsourced financial services, following the company’s significant expansion of its value proposition and service capabilities in Luxembourg.
With the opening of its Luxembourg branch, Inversis now offers a comprehensive depositary service, fulfilling all regulatory functions: asset custody, record keeping of non-custodiable assets, supervision and oversight of entities under depositary, and cash flow monitoring. These services are designed to provide maximum protection, transparency and security for all clients and investors. The depositary operations are managed by a highly qualified, functionally diverse team with over ten years of experience in investment vehicle services in Luxembourg, complemented by professionals from the company’s headquarters in Spain.
In partnership with Adepa, which provides fund administration, portfolio and ManCo management, record maintenance, NAV calculation, transfer agency and reporting services, Inversis delivers a fully integrated 360º value proposition for institutional clients in both Spain and Luxembourg.
Inversis closed last year with €19.9 billion in assets under custody, providing depositary services to more than 70 asset managers, and surpassed €21.7 billion in the first half of 2025 — representing an increase of 9% compared with year-end 2024 and 33% year-on-year.
Growth has been driven by the addition of new institutional clients and a robust performance in alternative assets, which have risen 28% since December and 63% year-on-year. With more than €5 billion in venture capital, hedge funds and other alternative investment vehicles, Inversis has consolidated its position as one of the leading service providers in this segment.
