OEL Fund Services, S.a.r.l. is a General Partner entity founded in Luxembourg in 2020.
The partners and directors of our firm have more than 25 years of experience in private banking, wealth management and investment fund management. They have developed their expertise mainly in Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, Latin America and the United States.
The creation of OEL Fund Services met the need of our clients to find modern, solid and tax efficient structures for the realization of their investments. Our main mission is to lead the constitution and operation of Alternative Investment Funds, especially in the field of Private Equity, using the Reserved Alternative Investment Fund (RAIF) as the main vehicle.
In Luxembourg, for several years, a regulatory framework has been in place that allows the development of “Private Equity” investment funds, most notably the RAIF. This alternative fund has the advantage of being able to invest in all types of assets, to be considered an alternative investment fund (AIF) and to benefit, under certain requirements, from the advantages of a European passport, without requiring prior approval by the regulator (CSSF).
Given the complexity of private equity investments, the expertise of financial structuring professionals and rigorous legal and tax planning is required to establish, manage and supervise such investments. Therefore, after a thorough analysis, we identified a lack of trusted players with the knowledge and experience necessary to carry out professional and high quality work.
Therefore, we set ourselves the goal of providing our clients with a guarantee of professionalism and know-how, not only to coordinate the effective functioning of operations and asset management, but also the monitoring and coordination of all required tasks, as well as all regulatory and compliance considerations that must be carefully evaluated and managed to achieve our clients’ investment objectives.
The RAIF funds we manage at OEL Fund Services are diverse and focus primarily on Latin America and the United States, with a strong Spanish accent.
In addition, we collaborate with leading law and tax firms, fund managers (AIFM), auditors and custodian banks, enabling us to be agile and provide significant added value to a highly demanding customers.
Our Managing Director, Mr. Manuel Arteaga, has been based in Luxembourg for more than 10 years and has a solid background and experience, as well as an exceptional 360 degree vision given by his experience in the field of private banking, law firms, insurance companies and independent asset managers.
