The Chamber celebrates the 5th anniversary of the Spanish Financial Forum with an afterwork

On Tuesday 1 October, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organised an afterwork in collaboration with EY, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the creation of its working committee Spanish Financial Forum, which emerged in 2019, at the initiative of several members of the Chamber.

Through the SFF, the Chamber has created in the Grand Duchy a space for opinion and debate on economic and financial matters where professionals working in financial services member companies can share experiences, establish collaborations, exchange information on sector trends and generate business opportunities. Today, the committee has more than sixty member companies and has organised more than fifty activities over the past five years, including the launch of its quarterly SFF Magazine.

The event was attended by the Spanish Ambassador to Luxembourg, José María Rodríguez Coso, the Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Spanish Embassy, María Ortiz and more than fifty members.

This afterwork coincided with the launch of the first edition of the training programme “Introduction to the Luxembourg financial market” which will enable participants to acquire the necessary skills to work in the banking, fund and insurance industry and, more generally, in the financial sector in Luxembourg. After this course, participants will have a 6-month contract in a company in the financial sector.
