SUMMARY:1-12/09 Training programme ‘Introduction to the Luxembourg financial market’
DESCRIPTION:In order to respond to the demand for professionals in the Luxembourg financial sector\, the Chamber organises the second edition of the training programme ‘Introduction to the Luxembourg financial market’. This programme enables candidates to acquire the necessary skills to work in the banking sectors\, the fund and insurance industry and\, more generally\, in the Luxembourg financial sector. \nThe training offers a consolidation of the fundamental principles of finance and provides both theoretical and operational knowledge\, adapted to the Luxembourg context to ensure a good adaptation to the labour market. It will take place on a face-to-face basis from 1 to 12 September in Luxembourg at the Chambre des Métiers Luxembourg (2 Circuit de La Foire Internationale\, 1347 Kirchberg Luxembourg)\, and at the end of the course a 6-month contract in a company in the financial sector will be offered. \nApplications for admission should be sent to luxemburgo@e-camara.com\, including a duly completed application form\, CV\, motivation letter\, copy of the diploma with the subjects taken and the corresponding marks before 11 April at 12:00 (Brussels time). \nThe training is organised over two weeks\, with 4 hours per day. SUMMARY:SFF Learning Solutions: Principles of international taxation and fund structuring in Luxembourg
DESCRIPTION:In the framework of the SFF Learning Solutions\, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg launches its fourth training offering an introduction to international taxation with a special focus on the Luxembourg alternative investment funds structuring. The Training will take place on 13th June from 17:00-19:00 h in English\, in-person format and it is mainly addressed to everyone interested in improving their employability by learning and consolidating their knowledge in legal and taxing aspects related to alternative investment funds structuring. \nThe topics to be covered in this training will be: \n\nIntroduction to International Taxation\nThe Double Tax Problem\nEU Directives & Double Tax Treaties\nEU Anti-Avoidance Rules\nLuxembourg Investment Vehicles & Fund Structuring\nCase Study\n\nThis session will be taught by Eduardo Trancho\, Partner in Van Campen Liem and Diego González\, Associate in Van Campen Liem \nThe registration fees for the next training are as follow: \n\nTraining – Member price: 130€ + VAT / Non-member price: 150€ + VAT.\n\nPlease find the programme here. DESCRIPTION:In the framework of the Spanish Financial Forum working group\, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg launches a third training focused on legal and tax considerations in Corporate & Governance of a Luxembourg company\, with a focus on governance\, corporate bodies\, main applicable laws and regulations\, reporting obligations or available legal structures. \nThe training will take place on 16th March in a hybrid format and is mainly addressed to everyone interested in improving their employability by deepening and consolidating their knowledge in legal and taxing aspects of a Luxembourg enterprise. \nThe topics to be covered in this training will be:\n\nAvailable legal structures \nRegulated activities\nCorporate bodies of a company\nMain laws to commercial companies\nDelegation of authority\nShareholders agreements: main features\nCapitalization of company: equity / debt – ratios\nSubstance – tax / corporate\nMain reporting obligations of a LuxCo\nTax risk in governance\n\nThis session will be taught by Luis Muñoz y Xavier Guzman\, Partners in DLA Piper and Alvaro Alsina\, Associate in DLA Piper. It will be held on 16th March from 17:00-19:00 h in English in a hybrid format (Chambre des Métiers\, 2 Circuit de la Foire Internationale\, 1347 Luxembourg). \nThe registration fees for the next training are as follow: \n\nTraining 3 – Member price: 130€ + VAT / Non-member price: 150€ + VAT.\n\nYou can check the programme here.
