"The Thirty Days Project originally started in 2007 after returning from five months in Missoula

I headed out to the plains for some images just after sunset near the airport

so as I was taking images I was also trying to look up ahead so I could plan any additional photos as we moved across the sky

This allowed me to see a different view of the locks than normal with the various growth along the sides and gates fully visible.
